The Youth Cybersecurity Conference is a student-led event dedicated to empowering the next generation of digital defenders. Organized by Pittsburgh Cybersecurity Initiative (PCI), this conference provides a platform for high school students to learn, lead, and collaborate in the mission to build a safer digital world.
We are currently accepting presentation proposals from middle and high school students who are passionate about cybersecurity, digital safety, or technology-driven solutions to community challenges.
Cybersecurity basics or awareness campaigns
Technical demonstrations (e.g., ethical hacking, password cracking, encryption)
AI safety, social engineering, or phishing awareness
Cyberbullying prevention or mental health in the digital space
Relevant computer programming, app. building projects, etc.
Personal projects or competition experiences (CTFs, cyber clubs, etc.)
Students in grades 7–12
Individuals or teams
Beginners and experienced students alike—we value passion and creativity!
